Meditation for Worship

Think oft of heaven, and what a thing a saint will be in glory, when he shall shine as the stars, and be equal to the angels, and then you will quickly see cause to love them.

Meditation for Worship

It may justly be suspected that God is not Father of those who love not His children. Though they retain the communion of saints in their creed, they banish the communion of saints out of their company.

Meditation for Worship

The practice of godliness is first of all the cultivation of a relationship with God, and from this the cultivation of a life that is pleasing to God. Our concept of God and our relationship with Him determine our conduct.

Meditation For Worship

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:11-12 (ESV)

Dispatches From The Front

Last Sunday evening we were privileged to host the premier of the latest installment of the Dispatches From the Front DVD series from Frontline Missions. This third episode, entitled I Once Was Blind, shows the transforming power of the Gospel working its way through West Africa. Through ministries like Water of Life and numerous native church planting efforts, God is bringing a powerful and gracious change to the hearts of those who have been bound in darkness, blinded by sin, and bringing them into His marvelous light! It is an awesome and humbling thing to see Christ building His church!

If you were unable to purchase a copy of the DVD Sunday and are interested in doing so, you can order online here. All three episodes are available individually or as a set, and bulk purchase discounts are also available.

Meditation for Worship

Prayer, though never out of season, is in a special manner seasonable when we are in an agony; and the stronger our agonies are the more lively and frequent our prayers should be.
